BRT PROJECT
The BRT Project was launched in 2008 in Johannesburg. The Bus Rapid Transport system was developed to make transport better in the city of Johannesburg as well as on the main routes to all the Stadiums in and around Johannesburg.
The 1st phase of the BRT consists of a total of 45 stations. The original structural steel contract was awarded to Tass Engineering. Tass Engineering approached Omni Struct to fabricate and install 19 of the 45 stations.
The total tonnage of this project was 285t
