PROJECT PROFILE - OFFICE BLOCKS

ALICE LANE

Glass facade steel on two buildings in Sandton CBD one 13 storey’s and one 16 storey’s consisting of purpose made tapered plate wings and rectangular hollow sections.

Project started July 09 to be completed in March 10.

FAIRLANDS

The Fairlands Office Park consists of two major office blocks. Wesbank and First National Bank, with a "shared facility" building connecting the two. These two office blocks, each big enough to house a full size rugby field on the roof, consists of plant room steelwork, roof steelwork, entrance / glass facades and horizontal and vertical sunscreens.

Love it, or hate it, it is sure to be a landmark in Johannesburg for years to come!

MELROSE ARCH

Omni Struct Nkosi (Pty) Ltd has been involved with the Melrose Arch project since its inception. From the sunscreens and cell phone tower on the original office building to the superior Virgin Active gym steelwork and the curved tubular roof light structure in the newly opened shopping centre.

Chances are that if you visit Melrose Arch and find yourself admiring the amazing architectural steelwork on this project, it was fabricated and installed by the leaders in architectural steelwork, Omni Struct Nkosi (Pty) Ltd.

UNILEVER - DURBAN

Unilever – Flagship required something different, all 10 atriums received skylights that were designed around the forms of a tree. The plain wall with its floating arms gives a breath taking, panoramic view over the Indian Ocean.
